SharePoint 的”二檔”

可能是我海賊王看多了，也用了魯夫的”二檔”來形容進階的意思

SharePoint 這個產品我想在業界也有很長的一段時間了，當初出來的目的是希望能建立一個協同合作的編輯平台。慢慢的，有的企業也將它拿來作為組織內部的知識管理平台。(老實說，我曾經使用過 SharePoint 試著建立內部的知識管理環境，不過它整體軟體的架構及花費，實在不是中小企業能負擔的起的，況且知識管理難的地方是在於觀念的建立，平台只是一個管理的功具，嗯，看起來牢騷比內文還多。)言歸正傳，那麼，什麼是 SharePoint 的”二檔”咧 ? 二檔看起來是增強版的意味，但決不是在說 SharePoint 的版本，而是 SharePointLMS 。

我第一次看到時，還真的嚇一跳，心想「MS 撈過界了，現在著手數位學習的市場 ? 」後來看了他的官方網站，才鬆了一口氣， SharePointLMS 是一個第三方協力廠商，運用 SharePoint 的架構，再加以強化而成的 LMS 。

其實，這個想法非常的合乎邏輯， SharePoint 原本就是在於資料的分享，而且要確保資料的正確性，運用得當，是一個非常的的知識管理環境。加上學習的成份，更可以強化”非正式”學習的應用。而這句話也不是我隨便說說，一到 SharePointLMS 的官方網站，斗大的字就說明了一切，

在這裡面，你會常看到兩個名詞，一是 MOSS ，二是 WSS 這兩個東西看起來好像是微軟認證的代名詞，但其實它也是個縮寫，不會太難

MOSS = MicroSoft Office SharePoint Server (這個名詞是 SharePoint 2007 以後的版本才被正名的)
WSS = Windows SharePoint Services

從這裡看來，SharePointLMS 是基於微軟的 SharePoint 為基礎，再延伸的學習平台。

而這個平的特色，大多數學習平台有功能，它也大部分都有，我們來看看它比較特異功能的地方。

從這張圖來看， SharePointLMS 實際運用了他最強的能力”整合”，將 SharePoint 的功能整合進來，進而也整合了 Joomla LMS (一個開放式的學習平台，個人覺得它比 Moodle 還好)，這表示了一個野心，「只要你用了 Joomla LMS ，你可以很輕易的轉換成 SharePointLMS」

這個整合能力，是國內很少見的，大部份的組織想更換學習平台，通常都是平台建置費之外還要再額外支出的費用。但是，SharePointLMS 作到了，這個野心，更燒到了 LMS 的霸主 BB (BlackBoard) 大哥，

說真的，”整合”的能力及功力，真的是平台廠商最好的武器。

至於好不好用，我覺得所有的平台對我來說「都好用，也都不好用」。好不好用的重點是要真正的去瞭解自己的需求，再去尋找合適的平台，用起來就是好平台。
